if your heads are ok dont touch the heads, i only did them cause i top swapped a n/a block. had no choice in the matter.

i'd do the lower conversion kit. a lim gasket kit, upper plenum gasket and new valve cover gaskets. new coolant, oil and a filter.

search this on rock auto. MAGNUM Part # MS18144 lim stands for lower intake gaskets. iirc it came with the side cover gasket on the lim, the t stat rubber ring and gasket rtv metal lim gasket and the rubber sides.

as per billboost, it may be wise to not change the seal in the timing cover if its not leaking. i changed mine, then i found a groove on my balancer and it leaked, i repaired the balancer with a sleeve, and it still leaked, then i found the seal damaged so i went and replaced the seal and thats no fun in the car.

your n/a? then you need different valve cover gaskets, and the upper intake gasket is different.

while you have the lim off its a good idea to mod it, seal the coolant holes and hog out the side cover water jacket.

oh, so it is sc'ed. you can reuse your super charger gasket if its the metal kind. if not you need to buy one and those are like 40 bucks. and everything else should fit.lim, valve covers. lower kit , only you wont use the pan gasket for a al pan it gets rtv only.

Ok, please don't get frustrated if it seems that I keep asking the same questions
Just trying to do this the right way
When you say everything should fit, are you talking about the part# you posted with the pics.
I tried searching the part# and it said no searches found
This are the parts I found
    Part # B38CSA
    FEL-PRO Part # MS96789
    FEL-PRO Part # TOS18717
    MAGNUM Part # MS18144

search your year car, then for a lower conversion gasket kit, lower intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets with grommets and upper plenum gasket.

Looks like this might be the first time yanking this engine out. Good job.

You can actually get the diff to engine bracket through the wheel well or by reaching down over the motor from the top. Heck..you can get the backwards bolt by doing that and then using a 12" extension under the exhaust manifold. Pain in the neck, but possible.

Since you left the trans in the car, do you have something supporting it on the passenger side? Otherwise you'll likely find the clamp on the CV inner boot to be mashed up.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Nothing is holding the trans
Can I use 2 by 4s to support it, or do I have to support the transmission itself
It is the first time that I have pulled a engine out
Done a couple of trans before but no engines till now

    Have one more question
When I took the wheel barring out on the driver side I noticed that the CV axel came apart inside the boot that connects to the trans
    Is that normal

anything that will lift the pass of the trans shaft up, and a bit higher will do.

a jack will help lift/lower that side of the tranny so the bell housing lines up when you put the engine back in.

and you need a new axle if im understanding you right.

I just bought the dang thing about 2 months ago
I noticed that on the pass side it doesn't come apart like the driver side
I wonder if I can contact rockauto and see if it has a warranty
