My thinking was, if you use the C-body / H-body style supercharger tensioner, you lose the integrated upper motor mount found on the W-body tensioner.
Installing that bracket would get you upper motor mount location back. IIRC, you just need to drill and tap one hole in the head.
Edit: This also allows you to pull the VC without removing the tensioner. Maybe?
Out of a hundred random used car buyers, how many would go for that with a nut glued on top? I hate to think. One could say modded and knock-free yep. Ha.
