Alright so I've just about done anything possible to figure out why my car will not run to its full potential. Let's try to stay on target.

    so what is your guess?

The most I have seen in a while is 5psi that was a while ago. This evening it was 1.0 and on a from a start run to 90 mph was .5 psi..... With the bypass locked shut.

Oh. I was gonna say just run 1 vacuum line to the top of the bbv and remove the lower - so it's based off vacuum alone

Boost leak? what's the SC gasket look like? Somehow the LIM or SC are warped and boost be leaking from the mating surface?

Spun a bearing in the rotor pack?? Never heard that happen, but I guess its plausible.

No strange noises of any kind?

Gasket was maybe bad. Both surfaces are under .005" using feeler gauges. RTV'dit back on last weekend. No change.

no weird noises. The only time I have ever seen this was when the driveshaft stripped from the drive end for the coupler.

Wait, are we guessing because you know what the answer is, or are we helping you sleuth this?

I am guessing we are helping him sleuth it.

You RTV'd it right? Black, red, gray or Honda? Also did you let it cure a little before putting the mating surfaces together? Also how soon did you drive after putting the SC back on with the RTV? If it did not fully cure before use you might have blown out some RTV. Done this on an exhaust before.

I don't fully know the answer but I am suspecting the driveshaft to coupler drive is toast.

So your helping me sleuth this too. I've replaced everything from the PCM to MAF to baro and MAP sensors along with all the other vacuum leak tests.

Blue RTV, had a friend set the blower within 15 minutes and torqued the bolts in sequence at half the torque value then back to the full 17 ft/lbs. Waited 5 then ran around them again. Sat for 5 hours while I installed everything in place and waited. Then put the belt on and went for a drive.

what are you using to read boost what are you using to scan? what has changed since it last worked properly? lets all keep taking a shot in the dark and guess since the op hasn't given enough info.....

Is it sloppy when you turn it back and forth? Would it even be possible for it to totally fail without making horrible noises? I think the nubs on the drive gear and the nubs on the nose shaft would hit each other?

He already said his mechanical gauge reads the same as torque pro...

And he actually helps others on the forum so I don't mind helping him brain storm.

I mi have posted more information on this car and everything that I have done for the last 2 months I will link them here in a minute. There are charts and graphs and they never get a response.

if you had read any of this it already states what I am using to read boost. The Torque app and a mechanical gauge.
