My dormans, after a little over a year the rubber on the balljoint is destroyed/torn.
If you can afford the downtime and money..
Replace your current bushings..
Invest in Moogs problem solving bushings, then replace the other bushing. If you can't afford taking your current control arms to have the old bushings pressed out then new ones pressed in or . Grab a set of used or junkyard 04-05 control arms.. Then have the bushings swapped that way you'll have minimum downtime.

Eh I would rather just buy new LCAs than having to dick around with swapping out the bushings. Once you price out new bushings its only like $10-$15 more for the entire LCA.
x2.
If you do go with Dorman or Moog, aim for the Impala Police C/A because they have stronger bushings and balljoints. Also, the AC Delco and NAPA C/A are made by Raybestos, which are very good considering they designed their C/A to be the same as the Impala Police ones but make it a replacement for every w-body car.
you could also just get the GM C/A police ones for about $45 a piece.
Depends if you want the new problem solving bushings or not.. Currently they aren't offered in the CA.

Well that is just dumb as hell.
Good info here. Subscribed.
I've been trying to figure out the difference between Dorman numbers 520168/520167 w/Special Suspension (FE4)... and 520165/520166 w/o Special Suspension (FE4) on RockAuto
I would read Special Suspension Package as being Comp G, but that's FE3 not FE4.. I thought FE4 was just standard suspension. And Moog, for example, doesnt differentiate, they just have one part number fits all.
My 99 GT has a n RPO code for "soft-ride" susp, one of those FE?#s. But yeah I'm thinking once OE struts are out, all that is out the window and one size kinda fits all for a given application. I'm no good on 04+es though so prolly no help with the Dorman #s. Maybe theres a pillowy version in Dorman if GM had one on 04+.
