Pretty sure this guy isn't coming back. At some point, probably due to some movie, people associated "supercharged" with instantly making the car fast. Could be the low end torque you feel, I dunno. Are these car fast? No. Are they quick? I'd say so. Are they relatively cheap to modify to the lower end of the "fast" group of cars? On a good day. Of course this is all based on perspective. We're the guys who know better, and have to convince the newbies they're wrong. They're not fast. Problem is 99% of us are assholes, some more than others because they have gone through this same topic 1,000s of times.

I live in a farm community. Short of a few LS swapped trucks and 1 Ls swapped F-body (none of the 3 are done correctly, they just put the engine in and run on STOCK tunes), I have no problem winning the occasional race.

You can ask anyone of my friends or anyone who looks under my hood, I have never called my car fast. I think the best I have ever called it is "pretty quick."

It Would be a shame, he might have learned a couple of things....but I honestly think this forum is more helpful than most. I had to join a Honda Prelude forum for a Prelude I picked up for a flip a while back during the "Ricer" craze and those guys were complete A-Holes.......if you take a couple min and search and ask a half way intelligent question most on this forum will answer and follow up if need be. Speaking as a "noob" to the site not to GP's are cars in general. Hey even me in my 40's get stoked modding my GTP commuter car, yep a commuter car and a cool one to me at that.

Maybe I went too far with the wheelie bars, but they would certainly help with the launch, granted they're a little less nonchalant than spring blockers.

The problem here is a guy making outrageous claims with no kind of proof whatsoever. I mean, "Took my first L to a 2013 stang gt", when you're driving a stock high 14's - low 15's @ 92 car is just asking to be berated. With those lies, he could've just told us he has an xp cam, IC, headers, 2.8", and built trans with 3.29's. Or a turbo. Something, we all know what these cars do stock, and they don't keep up with 2013 gt's.
