Literally a sneak peek

Not very often but when I do I hit it like its my last.
Lets see, um... drove the Grape to work yesterday, it was warm and cloudy outside. She likes Gotham weather, looks like a bat and smokes tire but I've been awful lazy under that hood and she feels it. Missed once yesterday. Acura Punk at work recieved his new turbo today. I've concluded that my GTP is a zombie. Poor thing is deceased just doesn't know it and keeps walking. One of my alum elbows is seeping, and I think its the rack itself that has begun to leak PSF. Makes a good garage floor slurry mixed with black 10-30 from the pan gasket. 242K and strong though, and a dude here is buying the old 40th interior or most of it soon, so I get some space back at the house. I should re-gasket and stab the engine from that one this summer. Meh.
Planning on changing my base turn signal light to combo fog turn signal. Parts coming. Anyone done this? Lights fuse and new blinker stalk seems to be all you need.

A friend of mine did he just opted to run a separate wire harness and switch for fog lights.

My current blinker stalk give me the old high beams on a right turn trick so a new one is not a waste of money for me. What drove this was the new headlights look great and not the lenses on the base turn indicators look like crap. So I was going to replace those. Turn signal new light is like 50 bucks and new fog light combo is like 20 so it's actually less to change and replace the blinker stalk than just put in new turn lamps. Fog lights just a bonus. I know they don't work that well but that's ok I think they look better.

Completed the swap tonight. Real easy. Combo lights plug right in, the fuse is already in there and hardest thing was splitting the plastic trim around the steering wheel. Blinker stalk screws right in with 2 T-25 screws. Fog light symbol even lights up in the dash. 👍👍

I did not take pics as I went but here are some shots
Old lights
New lights
Old blinker stalk
New blinker stalk with fog light control and fog lights on. (Light in dash)
Everything was just unplug and plug in. I used the TYC fog lights as they had the wiring harness and bulbs already includes. Like 22 bucks each.
I followed this instruct-able to do the blinker stalk.

I did not need a 90 degree screwdriver. I just turned the steering wheel 90 degrees to the left to access lower screw.
I got the blinker stalk on Amazon prime 45 bucks.

Like I said the hardest part was taking the plastic around the steering column apart and putting it back together but not bad. 45 minute job at most.
Added bonus is all operations on the blinker stalk are a lot smoother. Cruise turn signal...

Very Nice, Thank you. When I restored my fogged up headlights I did those lower ones too. I was surprised how cheesey they were. I've seen better on bicycles..lol
