Legit answer. For some reason I thought you had 7s.
I'm still on the fence about doing a d2s 4 thing. I have a new set of headlights but need the motivation.

Got another 6 inches, for a total of 13... Tomorrow is gonna be cold. Hopefully I don't lose anything in the snow. Lol

Pff. Try removing a transfercase at 3500', 8-10" of snow and -10 blowing wind; don't let the sun fool you. LOL

Towed buddy back down the mountain. Half way down, strap got sloppy, wrapped around the front axle and took out the left front brake house. Then it got super icy. Good times!

Different time, more snow, less altitude, butal-er conditions, blew a bead doing a side pull.....

A midget sure could. Luckily it was my buddy's rig (he just built it and didn't test anything.... front driveshaft was a tad to long, so when it compressed...BANG!), so we ensured he did his own dirty work. LOL

wish i had the pics of my blown up t case, (blizzard of 96) i was snow plowing. tooling down the road then all of a sudden the whole truck just jumped, like something locked up, stopped and there was a 100 foot trail of red atf down the road, looked under it and there was a hole about the size of a soft ball. snapped the chain. still had rwd so i loaded the bed with like 800 lb of salt and drive it for another 6 hours, dropped it off at a shop after i found a used unit and had it swapped out while i slept for 4 hrs lol then right the hell back at it.

damn busted it up good lol

my brother years ago had a 72 camino with a 396, little did he know his e brake cable was dragging the drive shaft and scoring a nice groove into it, one day he was doing a burn out on some pot hole filled road and the tires shook and then BANG! shaft broke, then it spin and hit the frame locking it up, cracked the bell off the tranny, was a b&m performance built tranny, not a single thing broke other then the case. had the guts swapped over to a new case off he went.

Replaced the Power Steering pump today. Fairly straight forward to do. Lining up the bolts on install was a PIA at first. I cut a piece of welding rod 4-5 " and put in top hole on the block to help alignment. Bottom bolt went right in after. Filled the reservoir, bled the system, key on motor off. Lock to lock 25+ times. Checking level periodically.
Started car and continued bleeding air. Was nice and smooth right? Take car for a test drive and at low speed and idle no power steering. Upon acceleration and cruising at highway speed steering is fine. Still air in the system do you think?

Pump is an AC Delco Professional Reman from Rock Auto. It was whining as it should upon first start up after install but is quiet after bleeding.

theres no bleeding for a pump really, you bleed the rack if its been replaced.

you might have got a beat pump, it happens.

I meant bled/purged/removed the air from the system. Whatever you want to call it...lol. I'll see if theirs any more air in the system first and if not..out it comes.

what im saying is there is no air, all you did was pull the pump, the lines are full of fluid, the pump is self bleeding, like as you filled it, it bled.

Found these in the garage. They're 19"s off an 05' Vette & if memory serves me correctly my little brother bought them for his Ford Coupe hot rod & they didn't fit. I'm wondering if he'll let me take them off his hands and I can use them on the GXP.

Corvette wheels are 5x120 though, would be cool if they could fit but they won't.

A simple Google search shows many GPs with Vette wheels, including Drunkies. Maybe it's just not worth the effort & cost to make it work?

New bulbs and ballasts on the left side doing the others tomorrow. Had to do some minor shimming to get the Hotspot where I wanted it. Hopefully they help a bit more in the rain. Headlight isn't on car in pic so it's crooked a little.

    4500k w/hylux ballasts

    Vs

5500k with about 500 hours on the bulbs w/VVME ballasts

    From like 3 ft lol
