Yeah the operator told us that, no big deal.
And if he's not drunk, just a stupid texter or really tired, then no big deal. Just get a ticket for that possibly

True, we gave the operator the plate number as well.

ive called in, and they patched me into the cops phone. then we spoke directly to the cop. not 10 minutes later came a trooper flying up behind me to find the asshole i called in on.

Yeah that's pretty cool. There were so many cops on the roads that night, we saw at least 10 on our drive. There's a chance he would have been pulled over by that cop without us calling that in, since he drove right by him lol. I don't really like calling he cops on people for anything really. Bring that drunk is unacceptable though.

It's always them that survives the crash too, not the family of 4 they plow into at an intersection.

Vigilance on the highway, Broderick Crawford would be proud! Hopefully it was just somebody like me, with floppy FWD POS steering.

Speaking of scraping windows due to winter precip, I haven't had to do that yet. They said we had some snow awhile back but I didn't see it.

Let me try to show you what gets on anything in front of my house. With the GT in the street it gets a motherload of this stuff. Requires razor blade on glass, alcohol on paint, to remove. Dang cypress tree does it every year but today is the second scraping already. Yuck. The globs are crusty on the outside but gummy sap underneath.

Hard to see the mess but it will trash wiper blades in a hurry! Anyway thats what I did today. Scrape windshield.

Also finished christmas shopping and drove all 3 GPs so it must be a good day!

Yeah. A guy I knew years ago who grew up across the road from my uncle had a serious alcohol problem. One evening while drunk as hell he ran into the back of a car on the interstate which forced the car out of control where it crossed the median and hit a SUV head on. 5 people died (2 adults and 3 kids), 7 others injured. He was treated and released into police custody. He already had 7 DUI arrests before this accident occurred. Thankfully he is in prison serving anywhere from 40 to 80 years for accident that destroyed two families.

My band plays in the local bars around here most Friday and Saturday nights and I can't count how many times I've been playing watching people drink all night long and then when we start tearing down the equipment we watch them stagger outside with their car keys in hand and get behind the wheel. Kinda scary that drinking and driving still occurs as often as it does nowadays, you just have to hope that no innocent people get hurt, as it's true they are the ones that usually get the raw end of the stick

I'm surprised there are no regulations at bars for enforcing drunk driving better. Drunk people drive away every day and nobody bats an eye.

Even if its enforced better at bars there are still plenty of people that drink at home and head out on the road. I went out to the bar last night and had a few drinks, but I cut myself off before I started feeling it and just chilled the rest of the evening. I even had a few people offer to buy me drinks after I was done and refused. If anything I should have had them get me a water or Mountain Dew.

Growing up, my neighbours across the street were class A dunks. Every night for 18+ years, drunk as skunks. The old man used to head out for re-fills in the early evening. One time, he baccked into my car when it was parked on the street. Another time he backed out of their driveway and right through the ditch; the ditch was short and deep, and the car he had at the time was a early 70's Impala. That's a lot of car to go through that ditch! LOL

Both have long passed from liver failure.

Had a Buick-y experience this morning... I was stopped at a light and a GN pulls up to the opposite side of the intersection. As I'm enjoying looking at the GN front end, an FWD Regal with Comp Cams and Weiand stickers on it breaks my line of sight rolling through the intersection. I cracked up and wondered which is faster.

Think my dash cam bit the dust right then too. Froze up wont even switch off. Them things are so ugly it broke it lol.

Lol well my ugly ass regal doesn't park under cypress trees but I get something similar. There's these trees that line the streets here and randomly let off this mist-like sap. It's brutal. It gets in everything and super hard to get off. Heck if you attempted to wipe down the car or wash it , the sappy mist streaks.
