    Three's Company reference?

Dumped my GTP coolant tank, there was a little Dex in it meaning my coolant change last weekend was less than 100% successful. A redo should take care of that. My issue with stumbling uphill has faded away with injector cleaner usage. No wonder, I skipped using cleaners for about a year.

Just use Shell gas. You won't need to use "injector cleaner". I personally believe most injector cleaners are just octane boosters. I used injector cleaner in 1 tank and the car felt good. Next tank I didn't use it and the car felt sluggish. The 3 tank I put the cleaner in again and the car felt great again. I figured the octane rating wasn't high enough so on the 4th tank, I put in 89 instead of 87 with no injector cleaner and that fixed the issue. This was on my 97 GP.

I use 87 in my 06 GP with shell gas and have no issues. Some places don't have the correct octane rating. If I use Pride 87 gas, I swear it's like 85 or 86 octane.

For once I'm ahead of the curve... filled up at a Shell last night. I normally don't do that. Car feels good.

I always try to use shell gas. Car usually feels a tad better, I've seen studies show they have more detergents, and it even smells better. I went to the bp that oddly doesn't usually get much business, and when filling up it smelled kinda old.

A lot of auto makers got together and created a list of approved gas. they say federal regulations aren't stringent enough to meet modern engine needs.
supported by BMW, General Motors, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and Audi

I prefer shell too but the one in my area closed, But if its not on that list, it doesn't go in my car.

i still had black box left over, so this time i went all buffer with the cleaner, it took all the water spots off and swirls. ill hit it with the 2 nd step tomorrow. the sun was creeping in on me.

then being my friends older work truck was begging for some attention i compounded the hood cause it needed it bad, then waxed the whole cab up. came out damn nice for a quick job.

he then asked when im doing his trailer. i yelled 500 dollars, never heard another peep lol

I've heard so many great reviews of that stuff. Might just try it. IK the Lucas DEEP CLEAN injector cleaner is good too.

I wanna get the kit to do a true injector cleaning and top end cleaning too.

All you have to do is pull the pump fuse, fire up the car till it dies, fill the catridge up, hook it to the fuel rail and fire it up. The car will run on whatevers in the cartridge and then die. Put fuse or relay back in and your good.

    KBee looks good Scotty.

Glugged a few gallons of Sunoco 93 in the GP-J last night and dumped in a second pint of Marvel Mystery Oil too. Didn't bother bumping the initial timing to her sweet spot. Light in the tach is out so I didn't play too rough anyway. Drove it mostly out in an hour or two and man does she sound happy and smooth. My torque cup runneth over. Washed it yesterday and the GTP today. Did more GTP headlight aiming at a better spot and I'm homing in on the right adjustment. Much better but bulbs don't match yet. Need some new ones but its approaching safe for the highway as-is lol.

There were lots of hot rods out and about today. Made sure they all heard me, thats about it. As on any day, happiness is a healthy Pontiac!
