Don't overdo it with the wrap like you do with the stickers/plasti dip. Subtle looks good. I see to many guys over do it, reminds me of those cars you see With every cf accent they can get.. Looks gawdy..

Well as of now all I want to do is the hood and maybe the gauge bezel\center console thing. It interior stuff needs work either way...so does the hood for that matter.
Paint the hood :)
Bezel, console would look good.
I'll be curious how long the vinyl last when exposed to constant elements

So paint the hood black again? I have the whole black white theme going and I actually think it looks better.
Nope paint it white :)

Bah! I should see if someone can Photoshop it white first...
While Scotty was designing a drip tray for 3800's. I went the opposite way of Scotty and Sammers (yeah.. I did and do call you both the same thing). Hiding the calipers is my feeling, instead of making them stick out.
Did the brakes all the way around on the car. The front rotors were grooved from the time I got it and the pads threw more dust than a sand storm in Iraq.
Rotors are coated and happen to black already.

Cleaned and painted the calipers as well. (German engineering on that control arm setup lol)

So you assemble the fronts and then slide this here clip in to keep things in place.

Gave her a long overdue bath.
got the repair sleeve from napa only a hour after they said it would be there.
its a pretty cool repair, its a sleeve with a lip around the one side, then theres a cap that fits over the sleeve and pushes the sleeve on as you tap it on with a hammer.
then theres a score mark to remove the lip you used to hammer the sleeve on. worst part of the job was removing that. greased the new sleeve and put it in. let it idle there a good 1/2 hour, not a drop of oil leaked out.
best part was, i drove it home and it was still dry. winner winner chicken dinner.
Me and GTP played in flash flooding. ABS light will come on tomorrow and be ignored lol.
ScottyB those sleeves are cool part-savers and work on drive yokes too. Had one on the Rocket 350 balancer, did not leak after.
it was not cheap either, but less then a new balancer, thats for sure lol
Picking up this Thursday!!
