Getting ready to sell my 02. Removed retros, put stock junk back on. Changed bcm settings to flash headlights with the fob. Have a few more things to take off and change. Man selling this car is gonna be tough for me, I've had it for 4 and a half years.

I took a pair of channel-locks to the terminal clamp, then tapped it down onto the post.
It'll work for a day or two. lol
Front rotors & pads, l/f outer "split boot kit" (we'll see how THAT works out), r/f outer tie rod end (steering wheel is a tick off...eff it), tried getting a broken bleeder screw with a broken EZOut stuck in it out of r/r...no luck...(again eff it). Had to put 2 washers under knuckle because castle nut went WAY past cotter pin hole...Whut up w/dat?
C'mon War!
Go old school on those battery terminals!
Drive a screw between the terminal and the connection!
Ala 1960's all over again!!!
It'll have a "retro" look!
I'm not messing with those again... They'll stay like that until I need a new battery. Lol
If I do decide to switch before this battery dies, I'll use it for diagnostic purposes. Or JY power seat extraction.
I'm aware replacement parts might not be "identical"...11 turns old one off, 11 turns new one on. As another backyard gauge, I left the old jam nut on as well, can't be off too much, right? Maybe one turn either way...? It's only 1 finger low on the left of the wheel.. I figure toe wear can't be worse than what was happening with the sloppy a$$ end I took out...??? I respect your opinions, Five. Thanks.
thats how i roll when i change parts, then i get to the shop when i can, unless its really out of whack, then ill tune it up by eye to get the wheel straight then right to the shop lol
What they said lol
I've done alignments, just turning the inner tie rod like a half turn changes the degrees on the alignment machine quite a bit. I have to say though, I have no access to an alignment machine anymore, so I have been visually aligning my car for about the past 2 years. Many thousands of miles later, the tires are wearing nicely.
If you're off a little, you will only notice cuffing between the treads when you run your hand along them. If more, uneven wear will be easily visible.
Today in preparation of selling the 02, I replaced the led strips for my mirror puddle lights on the passenger side. Drivers side started flickering last year, now they're both re-done with better ones. Also new speaker in the RF door, still have to replace the LF speaker, put halogen fogs back in, and remove my dash cam wiring. From changing things back to how they were, all these memories are coming back from when I first bought the car.
Just got new tires and an alignment today. Also got the great news that my front struts and springs need to be replaced, based on the fact they cannot zero in the camber and the front springs are sagging a bit. Hence the reason why my tires were so chopped. Yay. Hard enough time convincing the wife I need new tires, now it's going to be a struggle to get some quick struts.
installed belt wrap in all of 10 minutes maybe, test fitting my collection of belts took longer.
also fixed my ac, pas side was blowing hot, took the actuator off and the knob was stuck, broke it free turned it to cold, dropped the actuator on the foot cover called it a day lol
