hey and two pedal pumps. not bad. its been a long ass time since i had a carb. they all had some quirk you needed to figure out so it fired up faster.
my old bird was 3 pumps, then hold it wot, let off when it kicked.

Better than this cold start lol. Had 2 and a half month old gas in it. Filled the tank with new gas, and it starts up very quickly now. Even at much colder temps.Quote:

We hit -26 on Sunday am. I should have went out and observed a start but no need to take that car anywhere so why put some pain on it.
I did start the old 2000 suburban with a leaky intake manifold gasket. She fired right up and stumbled for a bit while the fuel trims worked themselves out. Got the parts to tackle that next week.
