both my trucks, like a switch at 100,000 miles started to eat a quart by 3,000 miles.
also everything on the front of the engine went bad, one by one pretty damn fast. clutch fans were eaten every 60,000 miles, cause they suck.
I checked it out and you were right. It is only the low beams causing my issues. I found I can get those Putco devices on Amazon for around $33. Its about the same as what I paid for the headlights themselves, but by the time I would return the set I have and buy another more expensive set I would end up spending the same or more.
I'm at 194k, and I when I check the oil at 2500 miles it hasn't dropped a cm, but if I let it go til 5000 without checking or adding it is down a little over a quart.
Some goodies came in. Finally! Got 40sq.ft. of the Damplifier, Fuel Lines, and new Wiper Arms.

Drove it almost non-stop all day, back and forth end everywhere in between... I can hear my worn-out rear sway end links clunking away back there, along with me finally realizing just how worn out my struts are.
Un-plowed snowy roads get bumpy as hell.
That's beer memory. I have to check the mileage next time I'm in the garage - but the bets on !
funny tho. I feel like I drove it soo little since the build
Also. Good find on the wiper arms. Hell I couldn't find a replacement set for years that wasn't ridiculously priced
They look pretty solid right?! They weren't expensive at all, $140 shipped. Took 1 solid week to get to me. I bought them from LinesToGo:

I have some close-ups of the lines and fittings here:

I was surprised at how low the price was. I was pretty surprised that they even made replacement ones still! Glad they do though cuz the uneven fluid spraying made the car seem extra janky.
Driving home form work last night, just a few blocks from my house.....

Yay for snow tires. LOL
I may get tickets for window tint or no front plate , but people who run bald all seasons in the snow are allowed to....
a few years ago it was coming down hard and the road split into a fork. I took the turn at the speed limit and the person who was tailgating me went straight into the fork![]()
Took the 06 for a 55 mile drive to burn up some gas. Yeah usually people don't say that but the gas is old enough in my tank to the point it doesn't start well when it's cold. Got it from half to just above quarter. Hopefully I get the light on, and completely refilled before the real cold weather hits. Looks like Friday night it's gonna turn into winter.

Have you considered Sta-Bil , or something similar? I use it in my motorcycle, mower, snowblower etc. All engines start no problem at the beginning of it's season. I swear by it. I also use it in my stored gas for my generator.
Wasn't supposed to even go that long without driving it lol. Thought a month maybe, more like 3. Plus I'm sure it switched to winter fuel, mine is old and still summer fuel. And premium is bought less than regular, so it's usually older straight out of the pump.

I guess its finally time I can post up in this.
Last week I finally replaced my right rear window regulator after a literal 5 years of being broken. Went a little crazy with eBay and PayPal credit last week too. Ordered some extended SS front brake lines, BMR rear lateral arms, max force rear brake kit and a GMPP rear sway bar. May go up to work on Saturday and install it all.
