Changed the oil and learned some thing.
    1. Long oil filter won't let me get my filter wrench on it
    2. If you forget to take the drain pan out with a filter standing on top of it it WILL crack the front fascia when driving off ramps
    3. The trans am and loose gravel don't get along when you punch it in 1st.

Man I love Grand Prixs. Good lookin Pontiacs today, gents- Ima get sidetracked here lol. Ought-ta start a topic or two of my own, they are brewing. I'm whoring and my cars are truly junk so I tuck my tail and salute the undamaged ones.

Guz, that wheel change did a LOT for it in my eyes. Took it to another level of dignity, if you will. Nice selection, they look like they grew there. I generally scoff at sedans and have always been baffled by peoples' taste in wheels (or maybe... the manufacturers') but I know what I like and don't like when I see it. Theres a photo I need to dig up that you might mildly trip on, Barry Meguiar posing at SEMA 14 with a truck I worked on (metal and mud, ass'y, etc) and he is standing right by a pair of fenders that I also sanded and buffed, at the CarCrazy Corral thing. I ran across the before pictures of that one today, hood held shut by rope, etc. And it dawned on me that it was ALL done with 3M shiny products, no Meguiars unless it was "the pink stuff" for dusting, lol. True story. Boy reality is misleading at times! I am a big fan of both product lines.

Russo'- Which bumper? I guess bird beak. 1/8" drill and black zip ties if it faces the ground, you can do an IDJ impersonation ha ha. That GT front end looks good, now what are you hiding in the shadows? ha

Boobs (would you answer to that?)- I'd still have to try getting lucky at a hardware store for sleeve material, you never know. I'll scope the thread out.

My doin's this day were minimal. Mowed and got the GT pollen-ed up real good again, but paused for some more revealing pics. The "sweep-it-under-the-rug" fix is obvious of course, but not so much so rollin in traffic I bet. Anyway, heres that extension of yesterdays mountain of BS about humble junk. I just scraped off paint flakes, wiped it off with my shirt tail and bombed whatever wasn't black. Pushed out a couple fender dents before install and of course its all scratched up cuz JY. Painted some rusty at the fender bottom too, cuz SE. Lots more to do, as I said before this fix was just to make it OK to park out front. Tag next. Last pic is the left LCA rear mount, thats stuffed into the frame. After I do something there, I'll slot the RR strut and try to align. The 40th frame is bent bad at the tie downs but if its square I might swap that in. I can work with a POS but its gotta drive.

Almost forgot... no more t-shirt in the GTP dash bag hole. Did some broke dash bending and was able to attach the cover from the 40th. Much better to look at.

All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

Couldn't resist, jelly... The approach angle on those cars is wicked low so thats gonna happen, I think the GT looks better than the T/A though.

Swapped starters with the one I got from the JY, sounds much better. It's a Toughone 6484S Rebuilt, looked just about right out of the box with no rust/oil on it at all. Still shiny.
    https://scontent-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...bc&oe=5537EF89
Then switched to a 180° thermostat.

Also, one of Advance auto's coupon codes that we all know and love changed recently.
TRT30 which was 30% off everything, changed to 30% off a purchase of $50+. It was the only coupon for purchases under $30. They made a new one for purchases under $30 that is only 20% off, code "PS20" or "CHAT20"
My compiled list if anyone is interested:

Advance Auto Coupon Codes (Buy online with your debit/credit card and pick up in the store in 30 minutes)
    PS20/CHAT20 - Save 20% on everything ($50 maximum savings)
    TRT30 - Save 30% on a purchase of $50+ ($50 maximum savings)

    TRT13 - Buy $30 save $10
    TRT25 - Buy $50 save $20
    TRT37 - Buy $75 save $30
    TRT41 - Buy $100 save $40
    HUGE50 - Buy $175 save $50

    PC4U123/PAYPAL124/ACCESS124 - Buy $30 save $10, Buy $70 save $25, Buy $110 save $40

You have to think about which coupon will save you more money, depending on where your total falls. The large group of codes save up to 40% when the total is right at the limit. But if it falls right under the limit, the trt30 code will likely save more money.

Found out that the tranny still slips so I'm gonna throw the entire Lucas Transmission Fix bottle in there now and see if that helps.

Haha, I've also added a $2.00 item just to boost it up to the next coupon which would save me more, and the item I added is basically free (so to speak)
The guy at the counter just says, oh and some shop towel. Yeah people usually add small items to get the coupons. I just said yeah, but wanted to laugh lol.

Man you should see all the extra **** I order.. I have a bunch of shop towels, dielectric grease etc.. Sometimes you need bag extra $2 to get me at the minimum especially if it's something you have to have shipped and need it to be at the $75 mark to avoid shipping fees.. Like my dorman sway.. Wouldn't want to pay shipping on that crap.

They're asking for it. Everything is 149.99, 74.99, etc. so it doesn't quite meet the requirement.
