Race car sticker, gotcha. A friend told me today they had 18 horses in their corral I think it was. How many GTPs does it take to out pull a large horse I wondered.
I had a hell of a time getting the brake light out of my original spoiler to put in my SPO too. I ended up drilling the heads off.
**** today, I can never do simple things. Well i changed the oil on the truck and that went fine...then it was downhill
Went to change the bleeder, and it instantly snapped off. (Yes i was turning it the right way)
No big deal, ez out fit in the hole....
Yeah that snapped off too inside the hole....wtf? Did thor put this damn thing on.
Screw it took the housing off and threw it into the woods and got the spare I had on my spare LIM, put the new bleeder on that because it didn't have one. New gasket on the tstat and all is well. It leaks a little bit but oh well its done, fk it. Maybe I'll rtv it if I get pissed at it![]()
I also almost got rear ended, here is my reaction caution its loud and distorted audio but you can still hear me rage
Basically what happened was a car was stopping to turn left, truck behind me was 1/8 to 1/4 mile away when I stopped. He doesn't realize this till his almost on top of me and has to put his truck into the shoulder and almost the ditch to avoid me. Then the impala behind him obviously not expecting it slams on his brakes, you can see the front of the car jerk forward as I floor it to stop being from being rear ended. It had to have been a foot between me and the impala before he got her stopped. Maybe I need a rear cam now lol
....
I got thumped like that last mother's day in the GTP. Now go check brake lights just in case! I have thought of rear cam too, it gets scary in the rearview often.
Oh and that bleeder looks like it could screw in farther maybe, with proper thread sealant if it leaks at the threads. Thats pipe threads.
My buddies eagerly did one side of the GT today, front hub swap. I got a call to come hang out and since he had a lift and I was set to get hubs already... well that job went quick! This is the guy who unbent the control arm mount for me on it too. Gave em a big jug of hand cleaner for the assist, and the GT keeps getting better every time I mess with it. Drives just like it did for the first 60K I used it, almost.
