I've pulled so many gas tanks in the last 2 years, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and completely full its up to the filler neck(which was a big gm truck tank) You name it. I use a trans jack and one or two tie straps. Never dropped one gladly, I'm always really careful about keeping them balanced and tie straps tensioned. And my worst injury has been a cut on my hand which healed without stitches(although it definitely qualified for stitches)
*cries in corner*

Installed SSC springs from ZZP onto my 2009 Cobalt SS turbo a month ago. A week ago I loaded my car with 5 people including me, two of them being (assumedly) pretty overweight. With them, I rubbed going over some bumps, and have since been much lower than my previous time being on these springs (about a 3 weeks.). Heres a few pictures I took outside my house today. More direct in sunlight pictures coming soon. That being said, ride quality went to **** since then, and one person I know with stock springs looks like he's driving a 4x4 now, since I've gotten used to the low.

Caroline likes it when Lee's on nights, so she can have the garage all to herself.

Dipped. Previous owner thought it was cool. I hated it. Removed it. Damaged paint Smh. Repainted the car.

I have garage envy now.
The GT drives better after every little fix, I'm almost to a point of alignment and tires with it but the GTP has first dibs on that $ and is gettin those next week or tomorrow. What probably helped the GT most today is that I corrected rear tire direction of rotation. 2 different brand directional tires on the rear and I had them going the wrong way. I excuse myself because there was a tire swapping frenzy when I had 3 cars, two wrecked. They are quieter going the right direction, lol.
Got back from a short stay in St Louis had a great time and the 97 ran great with the exception of the Maf code setting off the SES light once in while. Before we left the area I checked out a few pick and pulls today. Scored a decent trunk lid a stock amp and a Maf sensor for the 97. Tossed that baby in and it was good all the way home. The Maf sensor is different on the 97, it has a smaller hole it fits into compared to later years. I didn't know that because i never took it out. I got a one for the silver 01 it was also popping a code. i got lucky and found a 96 Buick with one i was going to get the SC off of it too but It looked pretty bad (the car had been sitting hood-less). That was the only supercharger i saw other than one car with EFS (engine fire syndrome). Not 1 good tail light and i only saw 2 coupes. No special edition anything only 2 engine-less GTPS and one burnt GTP, 13 97-03 cars and 11 04+. I saw a total of 7 EFS cars 6 Na 1 SC.. It was evident that faulty fuel lines were the cause of the fires. When i took my 97 in for the engine fire recall they made my valve cover leak. lol that's another story.
Very upset..Whoever made g6 design for suspension was smoking something.
Replacing the LCAS+balljoints in my brothers 08 g6, i will be doing the same work to mine when i am finished with his, we swapped cars and hes coming next weekend to pay me for the parts and pick it up.
On the right side, you have to remove the motor mount, jack motor up and move the mount so you can take one of the bolts off, its the same for driver side but you have to take the tranny mount off.
The right side took me about 4 hours, once i figured out the mount had to come off to get the old lca out. Driver side im in it about the same time, but the ball joint will not go back into the knuckle/spindle for anything, I have been trying for 3 hours now, jacking it up, tapping it with hammer, remove the other 3 bolts holding it in so it has more play, having the 3 bolts tight, the other one gave me trouble, but i had all 3 bolts in, just loose and all of a sudden when i jacked it up, it popped in. tomorrow morning i really hope it goes in, then the cars done minus air filter, serpentine belt, oil change.
I need to buff my winshield..
