I just gave a loud grunt of satisfaction. Didn't want to throw the LCA for fear of hitting the Grand Prix. Also didn't want to damage the LCA since it is being reused. LCAs aren't cheap for a Stealth like they are for a Grand Prix. Mitsubishi is the only place to get an LCA and they run around $400 each. I got new Whiteline LCA bushings and Moog ball joints for $130 total. I'll spend 30 minutes or so cleaning the grime off them, a few minutes sandblasting them, and put a few coats of primer and few coats of paint on them and they will be better than new.

First car show entered with the 97 GTP I had a great time.
IMO.. It was the Best Grand Prix at the show.
I had the only GP of any year at the show. lol
there were a few sweet looking classic GTOs there and they all won prizes.
1977 bandit trans am won its class and a 30th anniversary trans am got 2nd
in his to an awesome Buick grand national.
Sux--> all Mustangs for the top 3 of my class.
It was cool to have people come over and show some interest in my ride.

Got to put my b&g springs some time. The new struts make the car way to high.

painted my steering wheel with SEM leather and vinyl paint, med gray. with i took before pics, the top of the wheel lost its color, and the air bag got gooey. i had a spare air bag, so i cleaned the gooeyness off it, then painted it and the wheel. it gets to sit out on the balcony over night to cure up.

this top part was just black before hand.

Flashed a new tune. Drove it hard. Ready for a smaller pulley.

Looked for a good spot to add a homelink module. Ruled out anything in the headliner. I'm thinking under the ashtray hidden in the little cubby. Going to pull the top of the console tomorrow an size it up. Should work great for wiring. Easy access to power, ground and backlight circuit.

Scotty thats like a double-dog no-no sir... with all due respect and lols of course. It will look good but for how long? I'm sure its a big improvement. Be a good time to wrap the rim if that part gets cheesy, woudn't it? I'm trying to keep up appearances too, at least do what I can to pretty up the ride while weather is warm.

I ended up starting a two hour project at like 45 min til dark today. GTP roof was SO nasty with primer and clear overspray, see pic. Been driving this thing since Nov 13 and and am only now pushing to nice up the exterior. Used Clay Magic, Meguiar's #82 on rotary HF buffer starting with the OE white foam pad and finishing with a 3M #5725 followed by Meguiar's black wax paste. It needed several passes to clean up, with the nasty white pad which is more agressive. The difference was night and day but I ran out of day. It has a nice shine now without all the contaminants and with some protection.

All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

i followed a how to off the regal board. it had been done before. only time will tell how durable it is i guess. but looks like new now. feels like leather still. air bag cover is now hard and not soft and gooey.

and you cant wheel wrap goo on the air bag. its like i could scrape the finish off. it was always tacky too. it needed help.

Just like everything GM with the gooey steering wheel crap... I have a '76 el camino wheel in the other room that might stick to a wall if you threw it just right on a hot day.

No, it's just the camera, they're white. They are a little bluer than my interior LEDs, but not much.
