The spoiler on my trunk is leaking water through the bolt holes.......what would be a decent sealer for this
|
Silicone. It doesn't matter what type it is. If it says silicone on the tube it'll work just fine. Trust me I've been down that road.
I liked to use garden hose washers to raise the spoiler up roughly 1/8th of an inch to help the water flow under it.
Silicone the rubber washer around the hole, then add some to the top side and bolt the spoiler down.
