About a month ago I did the following work. 2 front hubs, control arms, ball joints, sway bar linkage, tie rod ends, and brake pads. About 1000 miles later, I notice going 40+ or about highway speeds I get a humming sounds going right.

did a bearing come bad out of box or something else going on? Bad cv or struts?

Some aftermarket one. Is the driver or passenger?

hard to say, most stop howling when you turn one way or the other. jack each wheel up and see if you can feel any play. if one has play its the bad one.

how much were these, "some aftermarket" hubs? if not close to a 100 bucks, you now know why it was so cheap.

we try to stick to skf, timken, or moog hubs with a 3 year warranty. and those still go bad. but you got 3 years.

grab the tire from the top, push and pull.

3 to 9 play is a bad tie rod.

Wheel bearings suck on these cars if you cheap out on the brand.

The ones that go the longest are the OEM ones that came with the car, sadly...
2003 GT Limited Edition 199k - The $600 winter beater.
2004 Buick LeSabre 172k - Top Swapped, 3.5 pulley, 1.9 rockers, SLP headers... still slow...
