I have a kenwood ddx419 double din and as long as I've had the car I have had horrible reception. So I tore the back of my radio out and I'm looking at it and sure enough there is a wire that says 'ant cont' with nothing on it. I just need the find the antenna wire and connect it... Sounds easier said than done. I was wondering if anyone knew what color or where the antenna wire runs or comes through.

The antenna wire is meant for power antenna equipped cars. It would make the antenna raise when the stereo was on. Since you don't have a power antenna then that is not your issue.

Ahh alright that makes sense... I don't know why it's so bad. I thought i fixed it and then took it out of the garage and it was horrible again... So who knows. I know it's getting a signal becuse when I unplugged it it went 100% static.
