The compass was, by far the fastest plug & play operations... just went through the large rectangular hole in the parcel shelf from the underside! The AAT sensor was a bit of a bugbear, though... had to remove the hood latch bracket for access. But I plugged in the 5-button DIC and everything is humming perfectly! The only catch: only the salvage car's odometer statement is displayed, not my car's. Which I fully expected... but I had two GM service advisors confidently tell me "Oh, the BCM stores the miles..." Well, as long as my car doesn't blow up, doesn't hurt to humour them! I could just run with the salvage car's miles, but that would be cheating, since it's only 110K and I hit 136K this morning! Ah, well; that'll be a date with the service department, then...
