    i have a 1999 gtp the problem im having is they replaced the trans but not a gtp trans but after a while u drive it shifts right from first to 3 any opinions thx joe

    if they put a non HD trans in the car you need the pcm tuned for the gear change it now has.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    Yes PM Dsmuts. He is a stand up guy. He helped me put in a trans in my GP last year. There should be a tag on the trans that has a code on it. Something like 5LB or along those lines. That will let us know what the ratio actually is. I don't remember where it is located, but if you get up under the car and look around you will be able to find it. That way if Dan does tune you, he will know how to tune it.
