I just have had problems in the past with AutoZone getting part numbers wrong and not giving me my money back after returning item's. By that I mean I would use my card and when I returned they told me the money would be put back on card but never happened so I ended up having to go back and getting cash back. So now I usually use rockauto to buy all my parts when I can.

This is South Dakota, it took forever for our Champion Auto to be converted over to an O'reillys.

I have had multiple issues with AutoZone over the years. I have gotten to the point where I don't even bother with them unless I have no choice.

I have never had an issue with Advance. Okay I take that back I had an issue with Advance once, and it wasn't my normal one. I later went to my normal one and they took care of the issue caused by the idiot at the other one.

The guys at Advance take care of me. I have had more than one worker there tell me how they like dealing with me because they know they aren't going to get stupid questions and I know exactly what I want every time. One time I did the order online/pick up in store thing for some brakes for my mom's car. When I got there they didn't have the brakes available because they were already accounted for by another online purchase. The manager said "Eff it. Give him the golds in the silvers place. I'll fix inventory." The cashier asked about price difference and the manager said I spent enough money in there over the years and not to worry about it.

As for RockAuto I only use them when the price difference is undeniably stupid. That has only happened 2 or 3 times. Once you factor in shipping, and the hassle of returns if it needs to happen it is not worth it.

I've had issues with Autozone and O'Reilly auto. Autozone gave me the wrong power steering pump and O'Reilly gave me an alt that didn't have threads for one of the bolts.

The only mevotech parts I used were the front endlinks. They actually had the same part number as the moogs and were identical to the moogs other than the color (red vd blue). They work just fine. I was in a pinch at the time and these were all that was available. I got them at my local O-Reilly.
