Has anyone ever tried repairing a dead seat cushion? Here' what I'm working with:

I'm looking for a cheap way to put a little life back in my seats. I'm thinking some 1/2" thick x 2" wide strips along the back and sides, shaved to match the contour. Maybe a couple layers in the back. Spray adhesive to secure the layers and the old to the new?

Would/could this work? Looking for input from people with experience in this area.

Or..pull two passenger side cushions from passenger seats (less wear and tear) and put them into your seats. Cushion isn't tough once you learn at the JY.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I like this idea. Maybe I'll see what the local Pull-a-part place has in stock. I was thinking of using the razor knife to extract at the yard. Quicker = better. It's hot as balls out there right now!
