Just seems like a lifter tick to me.

If you are close to needing an oil change, drain a small bit out and put 1 quart of tranny fluid in the oil. Trans fluid has far better cleaners and can help remove deposits inside the motor. Run it for 100-200 miles and change the oil.

It's worth a shot to see if that stops the ticking upon start up.

its time for a oil change i bet. gm lifters do tick after sitting over night to some cars, gm says its ok as long as it stops in a minute or so.

Sure it's not an exhaust leak? Video works, although what I was able to hear was almost silent.

Idk what it is I think it's just from the oil not being somewhere after sitting awhile

It could be that. How many miles on that oil change? If you change it and the noise changes in any way that's probably it. By changing I mean like only lasting 5 seconds, or going away all together.

I think there's about 3,000 on oil 140,000 on motor

Don't worry about it then, do the oil change soon and see how it does. In my experience, 3.4's and 3.1's get lifter ticking way more commonly than 3.8's but I have seen it.

Spray a hot and dry engine bay with a medium strength degreaser, wait 5-10 mins, cover the ICM and alternator to keep water out, and wash it off with a garden hose or power washer if you'd like but be careful. Might have to do it a second time and use a brush in certain areas
