Ok, so I have done a ton of searching and to no avail. I was going to reprogram a keyless fob to my 2000 GT and couldn't due to the bcm having a code in it. When I get the code it is 1(long pause)2(short pause)1(short pause)2(short pause)1(short pause)2 ..... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

pretty sure you need a dealership to reprogram a new or used bcm into your car.

your getting a code for the bcm? if so post it. and its definition. it can help.

The only way I know it has a code is when I try programming the key fob to the key-less entry. It initiates what I have found on other forums to be "the bong test" where it tells you the code by chimes. only problem is that I can't find anywhere that tells what the codes mean. I put the chime sequence in the first post. Thank you for any help....

This is for a '99 Montana van, but I think the codes translate:

    http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/mc...a-BCM-Desc.pdf

At least it did for the code I was getting on my '00 GTP.

Sounds like "RFA link circuit open or shorted to B+ or ground"
