I need to replace the lug nuts since they are all worn and ugly so I figured i'll buy all new ones. What size am I looking for and what brands do ya'll recommend? Are ebay lug nuts any good?

How would the longer size look? Would they poke out too much? Regular is 1.40" and the longer ones are 1.72"

12x1.5 is the thread size and pitch you need.

the extended and open ended lug nuts are going to look stupid without you having a lot more going on with the car.

spline drive lugs will eventually break either the lug, or the lug sockets. have fun with that. (hint: do not buy.)

I didn't want them to poke out of the wheel. I was looking for them to be flush and I was looking at close ended not open.

do yourself a favor and get rid of them before you break the key.

unless you literally never, ever use air. even so, spline drive lugs are ugly. and the key will break.

something that none of you want to pay for because you're all stupid amounts of cheap. i like open ended lug nuts, but they're just simply wrong to run on a car you daily drive. eventually they'll just corrode themselves to the studs and you may have to just break them off.

i also don't run anything aluminum because i don't use a torque wrench on my lug nuts. when you strip the aluminum because you hulked them on there, now you're down a lug until you buy a whole new set because they just don't sell one lug at a time.

otherwise look at companies like KICS, muteki, work, volk...etc.

PS - literally any set that is colored in some fashion (including black) is probably some ****ty paint or powder coat. and if it's anodized, the anodizing is super thin and it'll scrape off just like paint. so be aware that with colored lugs you're going to need to be careful with them.

This is where i reiterate.. McGard I have found no equal to date.

I have a set of chrome and a set of black. Neither set has dulled or has any damage/issues from me air gunning them multiple times per year. The black ones, I expected to lose their color and they have not lot color at all.

Black 64015 (I think they are packs of 4)
    Chrome 64012

I drive this car all year. No exceptions.

I don't use air on lug nuts, spinning a 4 way I like it better. Only reason I have them is because I need thin ones because of my wheels but im sure I cam find ones that fit. I also don't have a torque wrench so I'm kinda playing an interesting game with lug torque. Iv broke off a few studs with these also.
