Did it come off the front from underneath?
If it's what I think it is then it really isn't much of a big deal because I'm pretty sure I had the same thing come off. It was dangling so I just ripped it off.
Is that the air deflector under the core support? Could cause higher engine temps on the highway if it isn't there.
Ya sorry should have said that in the first post. Came off right behind the too long holes in the bottom of the bumper. It's been broken since I got the car but for whatever reason today decided to make a horrible flapping noise.
Yes that is the air deflector from the front, like stated above, under the radiator support. Mine broke off this past winter from plowing snow (lol) and it never changed the engine temps. I wouldn't worry about it.
Mine got ripped off years ago. If your cooling system is in good shape you should have no issues. Hottest I ever saw was 223* on a 102* day with the ac blasting in heavy traffic with my 170k old stock gt radiator. I made the decision to change my stock gt radiator out next summer. Radiator decided that 13 years was enough instead and started leaking in the middle of winter. It happened the day after we had -25* temps but my coolant never froze so my guess is that the cold just made the end tank orings give up. *shrugs* Now I have a 1" radiator from amazon.
I figure I'll put it back on just so it's not another part sitting around. Will probably bolt it this time though instead of those crappy springs it had on it from the factory.
