Take a clay bar to the mouldings and then compound and polish.. They're not at the point where they need to be sanding and painting just needs to be cleaned up good.

I'll see if I can help you out to get them to look nicer. I'm going to give you a couple of options to try. You will have to let me know if they are plastic or rubber. From the photo it looks like plastic.

If it is plastic give meguiar's plastx a shot. It's a polish for plastic.

You could then treat it with ultimate black to add some sort of protection.

You will have to use ultimate black every few weeks as it is not a permanent fix. Believe it or not some use ultimate wax or ultimate quik wax on exterior triim as it does not stain trim. Another little tip.

If it is rubber, mothers came out with a new product for 2014 called Back-to-Black Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner Kit. Pep boys currently has it 2 for $10. I've used it and it works really well to clean and restore trim. Do not confuse this with the regular back to black trim restorer. This one is a cleaner.

    http://www.mothers.com/02_products/06141.html

Then you can follow up with meguiar's ultimate black as it lasts a little longer than mother's back to black trim restorer.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
