    98 grand prix gtp. Just did engine swap. When car sits for several hours and i start it the oil light stays on for approx 7 or 8 seconds after start. Anyone know why this would happen. It doesnt do it if car has only sat for an hr or so.

    Swap the other oil pressure sensor over from the junk motor.

    And make sure the connector is clean and not damaged.
