    Okay..

So I asked a very similar question before to the one I am about to ask again today!

    HOODS!

When it comes to 04-08 finding a Ram Air hood.. seems to be nothing less than 700 dollars.. Now, I'm willing to spend whatever to make the car more beautiful.. But let's get real..

This is what I have so far.. What am I missing?

    2008 GXP.

    5% on the windows
    10k HID's
low pro streeters (black rims) Red calps
    NEW flomaster system. (full)

JUST purchased a new rear bumper to convert to dual exhaust.

I have the "racing stripes" that go on the fender, but Have yet to put them on..

A large Pontiac Decal for the rear window. again yet to put it on.. Just trying to make the car stand out a big..

I have red plugs, and a few motor mods. Cold air intake.. random stuff..

I guess my main concern is where I can find a hood for a reasonable price.

I plan to get this car to 400hp at least, I do plan on dropping 2K on a Turbo tax season, So I want to make this car something everyone can enjoy when they look at. The inside is clean as can be. Mint actually. I kind of want the "rare seats".. the ones that are two toned with the Pontiac logo on them? idk.. lol

Any ideas? Anything I should do?

    Thanks guys.

Only place your going to find the hood besides classifieds or local etc is pfyc. Btw your car should have already came with a dual exhaust bumper do you mind posting a picture of the rear.

Yeah if came stock dual, but when I got hit early this year I had to replace parts. My old mechanic got a stock single pipe bumper mount so he (being a "in his mind good uncle and machanic") converted me to single and put it all back together at no cost.. So now I no longer use him ha and that's why I was so like .. Meh about having single, it just bothered me. So now that I'm full dual it's good ha

And since u wanna go faster.....you'll need one of these beautiful things

Ls1/2/6. All three of those will work. And a cam...like I'm working on now....will get u to 400

I'm always watching for a set on ebay/craigslist. Here's a set, but they're not in great condition:

Find me a better set for sale...won't be easy. These are actually pretty good. Only sort of issue is the driver lower pad but that can easily be swapped and this is rather good wear for a 05 that had 135k on it

I've seen much better sets for sale, problem is they are priced accordingly.
These ones are quite cheap compared to what they normally come up at. I'm just not willing to pay $800-1000 for a set of seats.

Exactly if you want to pay way more I'm sure you can find a better set. A little TLC can go along way. It's hard to expect perfection when after all it was pulled from a used totaled car. Years ago GXPs seats rarely popped up took me a good 2-3 years of constant searching to find a set.

Word of advice, ditch the 10k HID's they are doing nothing for you. Go to no higher than 5000k HID's. Your light output will be vastly improved.

In the last few days I have seen several cars with HID's in the 8000k to 10,000k range and just laugh at the piss poor output and the BLUE.

Do CTS-V seats in the front so you can heat and cool your arse. and just have the rears re-upholstered. that's not the cheap way but in the long run its would be worth the time and money.
