Did a quick mock up with the block in my garage.
Fits perfectly.
As for the clamp, I had mine seal up just fine for 4 years, sold the headers and they are still sealed today.
ntreftz is in, thanks!
I personally have had better luck with the Frozenboost clamp on the front, and a regular band clamp on the back.
Also, I remember when my headers were that nice and clean.
Can't wait to see the write-up.
I assume you are doing all the current WBS modifications to these headers then? They will look like this when they are done? With better welding I assume.

As I said numerous times... this thread is to address and correct some of the annoying features of SD headers.
Patience sir, I'm making a video.
Hey SnowFlake,
Will you or can you add information about using a CC with the headers?

Thanks hester, you're in.
The drawing is in 4 days!
Killerspeed101 you still need to post in this thread or I have to remove you, I sent you a PM, no response...
so your not replacing the 1 5/8ths primary's for 1 3/4, cutting apart and rewelding the front merge to fix the horrible primary entry angles. your also not cutting off the 4 to 1 merge to fix those sweet primary entry angles.
all your doing is reworking the DP?
shoot i woulda at least went fer the OBX headers and at least ended up with something worth putting the work into if all yer gonna do is the DP reworking....
i did notice no where near as many OBX listings on ebay and it seems they are now the almost the same price as genuine pacesetters just in stainless
at least then all ya gotta do is weld the rear header, Y and Xover together...and maybe replace the 3 bolt flange with a V band
then at least youll have headers worth the effort
That's not something everyone can do.
My idea for people is painfully simple.
I'd argue that the 1 5/8th primaries are fine. I made 374whp on a blower through unmodified SSAC headers.
In other news, I returned one of the torctite step clams and ordered the 2.25" clamp for the front header from frozenboost.
While I was at it I ordered 2x 3" clamps as well for the 3" section that needs clamping.

Great idea nick! Haters gonna hate. Just jelly they didnt think of it first. Vouch for Nick hes a good guy.
Donated. I already have headers on the car but i could use these due to the fact i didnt fix my downpipe befor i put them on the car. Now there is a nice dent in the downpipe.
Food for thought Nick. How about the possibility of welding in another bung at the suggested angle for a wideband and just throwing in a plug if the winner does not need it.
Thanks guys, you're in :)
If the winner wants to send me an o2 bung I'll happily have it installed.
Work on the headers wont be done until after the drawing.

Couple questions. 1. Will they fit a ssei bonneville? or is the DP totally different on those? And If I enter on behalf of someone that I would install them for, would that be ok? I am going turbo with my car so headers won't work, but one of my closest friends just got an ssei and my step sister has a GTP that they would look nice on as well. LMK if that is in the realm of possibility in the spirit of things and I will donate if so. Thanks and sweet idea!
