Why put a GM rear end in it?
2004 Comp G "The Panda"- low, e85, big brakes SOLD
2002 Trans Am- 6 speed, bolt ons or something, it's slow.
2006 Silverado- forged ls2, 4l80e, plate kit, also slow...

Because it wouldn't need a 9" if it's not getting turbo'd. It would be easiest to just buy a donor GTO or Trans AM and swap everything over than mixing and matching to piece the whole car together.

If a donor car was acquired all that would really need to be done would be driveshaft length adjustments, Trans crossmenber and engine bracing. The Engine, Trans, Rear, Wiring Harness, and Tune should all be good to go, and those are the largest componants.

Then you could turbo it later.

For all the work and money it would be to make a rwd grand prix youd be better off making a 2jz 240sx with a massive turbo.... just saying.

Same amount of work and you'd have ~1000whp car that will run sub 10's

Want one, I was looking at a commodore once but by the time you freight it and get it through custom's it was double the purchase price.
