    thought i would try this over here encase it is in the wrong section but my question is i have a 99 grand prix gt with the two speaker option. could i switch out the two speaker plastic for the 4 speaker or would i need the whole shelf .was looking inside the trunk and there seems to be a mounting spot already on the frame....thank you

    Im Sure you could get another two speakers in there... Defiantly if there seems to be a hole already... You just need to run some wires back there

    that's what i thought i just didn't want to cut the plastic to fit another two i was wondering if i could switch to the four speaker plastic

    Yes you can, I did in my 2000. It works best to get the plastic holders for the two extra speakers as well. I just swapped in all four Bose speakers

    I have the 4 speakers in the shelf on my 97 GTP and I dont have a Bose system

    Bose was not available until 99 or 2000. The early eight speaker set ups were standard delco speakers with an amp
