Got in my car and of course it was raining, turn on my wipers for about 5 minutes, and all the sudden the passenger side wiper just falls straight down, drivers side works, but not passenger. 2 days earlier I had put the part in to keep water from leaking into the passenger side floorboard, I had to take off the passenger side wiper, could I have done something wrong?

Give it a shove. Sometimes you need to put some force into the wipers to get them to snap into place.

Your wiper transmission is likely shot.

Take off the cowl and take a look.

It's likely damaged in some way. If so, replace.

Mine did the same thing, I could tell the "transmission" was fine because the shaft in the middle was still turning. I just put it in the right position while it was off, and tightened it down real good and it's been fine since.

If one side is working fine, but the other side is not moving at all the wiper arm nut on the blade that does not move is loose. Tighten the nut and you will be fine.
