Thread: Cruising and random unpredicted jerk

I had this exact issue on my old GTP. It was caused by a bad VSS blipping out momentarily. The car would think that it went to 0mph for a second, and try to downshift to first. Watch the HUD or speedo when it happens to see if you can catch the blip.

Vehicle Speed Sensor. It's the sensor on the Diff side of the transmission, right above the CV shaft.
