Awesome, just a simple bulb that can be found at an auto parts store or is it one of those specialty bulbs?

I bought my 02 3 months ago and it had the same issue. the right side was dim compared to the left side. pull the dash bezel off on the pass side of the dash. bend the tab on the right of the dic to remove it. go to the junkyard and find a few gtps with the same DIC. remove each light bulb and hold it up to the sunlight to see if it has burn spots on it. if not there you go. like gpse2000 said. very simple.

A #24 bulb is often used as a replacement. Simply remove the existing bulb and replace with the #24. But I believe the actual size of the bulb is a PC74. I haven't looked at the bulbs in a long time but I recommend you remove the bulb and take it with you to the store and compare it against the PC74. If it is not carried anywhere locally then a #24 will fit.
