    I just installed a new ACDELCO transmission filter and... It was made in China.

    Delco oil filters are the some of the "cheapest" out there, also made in like china or some third world place and just stamped the sticker that says delco on it.

    So yup, you got yourself a china trans filter that will do its job just fine. Though I woulda bought a WIX from napa just because I'd prefer a WIX.

    Just don't buy the really cheap ones. Most auto parts store's lowest level filters are still okay, but not the cheapest ones when it comes to buying online.

    In all honesty I recall seeing a new sports car from Mexico on Top Gear and it was very cool IMO. So Mexican engineering isn't all bad.
