So, I recently got my GTP and was reading the manual, and it says "If your vehicle has the 3800 Supercharged V6 engine (VIN Code 4), use premium unleaded gasoline with a posted octane of 91 or higher for best performance."

Now I've only been using 87, should I switch to 89 or 91, or just stay with 87?

    What are you guys using?

Well I'm nearing empty, I'll be sure to throw in premium. Should I go 89 or 91? I think there's a gas station near me that just got 94...

Even completely stock you should be running the highest you can. Either 91, or 93 depending on where you live.
I run nothing but 93 in my car.

series III's compensate a bit better for lower octane than prior series, but not for too long....you just bought the car, would hate to hear about premature detonation.....run at least 91 while completely stock.....
