So, somehow, someway or another... You figure your manual is wrong in some aspect with what octane the (S/C) engine runs on? Great! I'm wondering why you didn't ask if its ok to run diesel? Lol... Just kidding...

91 or better if available, or accept the consequences IF and when they come. You might be lucky, or not...

but in an emergency you could put a quarter tank of crapola in there to get home, just make sure you stay out of boost. Then fill it with 91+.

good luck with car : )

Ya, I just filled up with 91 octane. Best I could find at the moment, but it's hard to find any higher in Ontario. But I did manage to look online and there is a gas station a lil ways from me, and they do sell 94(95?) octane. Think I might go there soon but damn that's expensive, $1.45/L which is $3.72/G lol but it's worth every penny.

Probably a petro can station with the 94. Petro can took over alot of the Sunoco stations and sell the Sunoco Ultra 94.
It's widely available in bigger cities in Ontario, thats what I run.
Your math is a little off though.
    One US gallon = 3.78541 lites @ $1.45 a litre = $5.49/G

Shell 91 nets better fuel economy because E0 vs E10.

They actually run even more timing than the previous cars.

So you could really use a tune for less timing, and always run premium.

Ya Petro is one spot, but Esso and Canadian Tire is closest to me so I always go there.

I think I'm gonna stick with 91 octane for now. When my money situation gets a little better I'll go for 94.

Yes Petro is the one and only spot to get 94, Esso and Canadian tire only have 91 available.
If your only running 91 and have a Shell station close I'd do as Matt said and use it, the shell v power 91 has no ethanol added to it so it will net you better fuel mileage in comparison to the rest of the premium fuels available to us that are all E 10.

Ya, I don't know where a Shell is from here, but I guess I could start driving to Petro and get 94 instead. Just to be safe and sorry.

I always run 91. That's the highest non ethanol i've seen in my aera. I can get 95 with 30% ethanol in several places around town, but I don't run that unless I absolutely have to since that probably leans the car out. I do plan on goinng E85 though, theres over a dozen stations around here local.

87 octane $3.17 gallon here. This is for my 08 base GP. The TGP gets 93, but it's dirt cheap to fill up since it doesn't move. Lol
