    I've had some maf tastic issues too. 3 in 3 years so far. Next one and I'm going to consider getting a new pigtail like Scotty is always suggesting. I have this idea that if they don't get enough voltage/ground they somehow cook themselves faster.

    Although, I also know a guy who got a warranty on the maf not long ago. FREEEEEE maf's.. Freeeeee mafs!

    PS.. I'm glad it wasn't the trans, in reading it... the symptoms didn't fit
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Cleaned the ground on trans case and inspected wires, found nothing wrong to the sensor, taped it back up and plugged back in. Cleared code and went for a drive, right back to square one. I'm going to put the junk yard one back in and see what it does tomorrow.
