I have a few questions and some advise needed!

2005 Grand Prix GT 117k Miles

Bought the car with 113k Miles

    So far I've done

    All new Rotors
    All new Brakes
Oil Change done twice so far "Valvoline"
    New AC Delco Wires/Plugs 41-101
    PCV Valve
    Radiator Flush
Plastic Elbows "which caused all new fluid to come out"...
Back Drivers side wheel hub bearing.

Next I want to do a transmission change which means I just want to drop the pan, drain, put new filter, fill with new fluid. I know it should be done every 100k so would I still be okay? I read thread on here and it kinda freaks me the "F" out =/

My Serpentine Belt looks fine and not sure if that was ever replaced so should I go ahead and replace it anyways?

Also how do you check if your suspension is bad? When I drive the car I can feel vibration from the steering wheel which isn't to bad until I drive on the express way and then you can really notice the vibration. I'm not really sure what to look for if something is bad or broken.

Anything else that i should know of or do to help make my vehicle have a long wonderful life?

    Thanks! =D

Do a pan drop and filter change you won't hurt anything. Jack the car up and try to wiggle the wheel and see if anything is loose

Check half-shafts and if you ever get them replaced don't go "cheap"

I wouldn't worry about the belt unless it looks like hell until it starts squealing or snaps, but theyre not overly expensive or difficult so yeah.. I would change the fluid on the tranny more than every 100k. I change mine every 20k, of course im a lot harder on it than a stock car is. Just don't flush it, thats where you run into major issues. pan drop + filter change is fine.

X1000 on doing just a pan drop. Hell you can get the Dorman trans pan and make it easier on yourself to drain the fluid in the future through the plug.

Where can I find this pan at, link? Also when I change the trans fluid how often should I change it again?

Also anything else I should look into other then what I said to help keep my GP living strong?

    Thanks!

Dorman #265-814 just makes it easier to drain in the future.

Wouldn't hurt to change the fuel filter either.

Also throw in a shift kit when you do the pan.

So I took my car of to my parents house to have my dad check on my suspension and while he was looking he noticed 3 out of 4 tire weights were missing, would this cause vibration?

it sure could. best to take the car to a tire shop, have them balance and rotate the tires.
