Transmission problems again on my '05 GP

Ok, so i posted about my transmission before and fixed the problem. Now i have another issue with it. i feel its slipping a little bit when im stopped on a hill because of traffic lights. when im stopped and waiting to go it seems like it runs fine but then when the light turns green i take my foot off the brake and apply the gas it doesnt go and then jumps into gear. kind of scares me. can anyone help me??

Ever do a pan drop and filter change? If not do that and put a bottle of lucas stop slip in it.

i changed the filter, gasket and fluid in it about id say 5,000 miles ago. i was thinking about doing the lucas stop slip in it. what do i have to do to put that in?

drain a little out of your trans and then just add to it

ok. that applies to the oil as well. i wanted to put some of that lucas stuff in my oil as well. they come in 1 liter bottles right?

i over filled my friends tranny a bit when doing his pan drop. i took a clear rubber tube that fits inside the dip stick tube for the trans, and sucked the fluid up the tube. it was a long tube, so it could reach the ground, and bottom out in the pan, sucked the fluid out via siphon action.

clear tube is key here, so you dont suck it into your mouth, yuck lol once the fluid level is coming down the side of the car in the tube it should flow on its own, keep the end of the hose lower then the pan bottom, fill a quart container, then pinch the hose, lift it up higher then the engine and let whats in the hose drain back into the trans.

now that one quart is removed, dump the lucas in.

oh, fill that quart inside a catch pan, you'll leak some. its how it goes most of the time. or do this in a dirt lot, ramps help to raise the front end, or jack it up. but jack it level.

I have one of those cheap orange/black pumps.. works like a champ in cases like this.

I used Lubegard 60902 when I had a Transgo Shift Kit and Aluminum Transmission pan installed. The Aluminum Transmission pan has a drain plug so future additions can be done easily. The transmission was shift banging a little sometimes and the car has 217,000 kms on it so might have been overkill. It works perfectly now.
