    anyone out there ever gasket match there heads and intake? If so did you get any notable power increase?

    nope....a 3100 isnt worth modding

    I would search over on 60degreev6 they would have more answers for you there. Also check out Milzy Motorsports and WOT-Tech: 60V6 Performance for mods for the 3100.
    Most of the guys here have 3800s and dont really car about the 3100.
