Ok this is weird and I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

    Specs.
1999 GTP. Trans has about 25,000 on it after the rebuild. Engine 186,000

Today I was driving and I noticed some hard shifting will engaging overdrive. After the hard shifting the car will jerk for a lil and try to even out.

A side note is that I was working on the car yesterday (replacing motor mount) and the wrench smacked the maf sensor a few times until
    I repositioned it.

I've put the car into third (in order to disable the overdrive) and the problem still exists.

Just did a pan drop a few weeks ago and the fluid is fresh and it's full.

    Any ideas?

    Edit. No codes as well

I'm going to try that as well. It appears my overdrive has left the building lol.

Ok maf unplugged. Shifts seemed fine (really couldn't tell due to the shaky steering caused by the sh!tty roads in dc). But car seemed overall sluggish. Gonna switch mafs with my bro (he drives a Grand Prix as well)

it does it in all gears, 1,2 and 3. it feels like 4 th when the tc locks up.

when you are in the gas the torque converter slips the power to the tranny, when you let off the gas it locks up 1 to 1, so to say.

if your driving down the highway at speed, tap the brakes while still holding the gas steady, the tach will jump up 2 or 300 rpm, this is the tc unlocking.

Ok it seems to have stopped but shifts seem a bit slow so I'm guessing the PCM is relearning the shifts

if you had your battery off for more then 30 minutes, the trans needs to relearn how you drive. it can shift weird for up to a day or 2.
