Hi; I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP. I had to replace the A/C compressor, which I did; but I had to remove the bumper. I notice that there is a white plastic hook on both fenders, a bumper support or fastener of some kind (don't know what to call it) but when the bumper in put back on, this latch goes through holes in the bumper, and the bumper is slid forward and hooks onto the fender with this support I'm talking about. Driver's side one is busted, and I'm trying to figure out what it's called and where to get one? Thanks a lot

Not sure what exactly it is called but Im pretty sure I know what you are talking about. I would say a junkyard would be your best bet. I dont think it is that important as long as you get the bolt back in about the tire there. Is yours sagging at all because it doesnt have one?

Yeah, it's a bit loose; I didn't know why untill I removed the bumper.

You might even want to run to an auto parts place and say you broke a bumper clip and explain to them and they could probably at least give you the part name. Im sure that they could figure it out.

A Zip tie . . . I didn't think of that! But I've got it repaired, thanks to epoxy putty. I formed a new part of the thing (the part that clips through and under the bumper hole) onto the stub of the clip that was still there. The part that is triangle-shaped and has a snap that attached to the fender has a hole in the middle of it. I put a screw in the hole to help anchor the epoxy putty. I let the putty sit a while after I put it on the clip, until it was stiff but still bendable, and made the final adjustment on it. It's working fine.
