When you lock the car, the horn will honk and the lights flash. I know you can change this to where they won't flash at all and the horn won't honk.

I was just curious if it can be changed to where my parking lights or fog lights flash instead of the headlights. I know with an aftermarket remote start installed, they wire it so the parking lights flash.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I like the fact that the horn will honk and the lights will flash. I have HID headlights so I don't want them turning on and off quickly. I currently have it set so there's no horn honk or lights flash.

So I'm just wondering if anyone has changed this "feature" to where the parking or fog lights flash rather than the headlights. If it's controlled by a computer where it can't be changed, no big deal.

    Thanks for any insight.

Top middle of the page is the [ Search Bar ] and you'd be surprised how many threads cover this sort of question.

It's not easy, it involves a substantial amount of re-wiring but it is do-able. Highly suggested when running HIDs as the constant flashing will burn out the ballast or the bulbs.

I honestly didn't think people would be asking this question, thought I was being weird just asking it.

I'll do a search for it.

Yea I feel like I could screw something up doing that, even though it's not a long process.
