i got this car in may of last year, never really had any problems until recently, car won't start but turns over, gets spark, so we think it could be fuel filter or fuel pump, i have driven the car's tank dry before, not by choice but because i need it for work, anyway, the other day i got off a 3 am, had the problem labeled above, when i had it towed to my house the ignition and shifter locked up, we think thats just cuz the battery was dead, but i'm not sure if the grand prix had any usual problems with not starting, and this site seems like it may help, also had a few other questions about some things.. if anyone would like to help. i don't wanna throw a bunch of money in this car, but i don't wanna get rid of it cuz its pretty much been my first car... (also the car just hit 140,000 miles if that has anything to do with it. also the battery was checked so the starting problem has nothing to do with that)

the car makes no sound when turning key, lights come on, dings, but not the usual little buzzing noise it makes when u first turn it. (that sounds like it comes from behind the dash)

also, when i turned the key forward to have it towed, it did make that buzzing noise, really loud too, even when the key was out until it eventually killed the battery, and i haven't touched it since afraid that im gonna mess it up more

You can try bending the tab on the fuel pump relay to kick the pump into high mode and see if it does anything.

I know that picture is floating around here somewhere.
