Hey everyone, Ive never posted before but have gotton a lot of good info here. My 97 GP with the 3800 and 267,000 on it is starting to die. It has been a great vehicle and still has the original alternator on it! Cant complain at all. Anyway, I want another to replace it. I have the chance to pick up a 92 GTP with the 3.4 and a 5 speed manual for next to nothing. Car only has 90,000 original miles, and the motor is all brand new with a new clutch. My dad bought this car 10 years ago with a blown head gasket(or so he thought). It sat around in the back of the shop for years until he dug it out and rebuilt everything. Ive drivin it and it runs and drives pretty good considering how old it is. But thats the problem, its old. I guess im kinda spoiled, but i like automatic key fobs and CD players haha. My question is this, should I buy it just because its kinda rare and cool? Or should I just go get a little newer one and be done with it? Sorry for the novel

Nothing wrong with a 92 GTP--and it's a 5 speed! I'm sure your old man will give you a deal on it-- drive it and in the mean time save for newer GTP .

    btw--you are spoiled
