    I hope somone can help me I have a 01 gtp and it has a problem so I scaned it and got a P0300 code.It said that I haverandom misfire detected.could it be that I jumped my timming some how

    no way you jumped timing. when was your last tune up?

    new plugs a month ago cleand my air filter then too I do regular maintenance all the time

    this all started after I got stuck in the snow was slowley getting out then I hit a dry patch and my car shot out like a rockit.Now I have this prob

    random mis fire means they are in every cylinder all over the place.

    so im guessing here, you used platinum plugs right? if so change them, thats your problem. you want to use iridium plugs. nothing fancy, no Bosch 4 or any of that stuff.

    ignition control module. It's under the coils

    the icm is under the 3 coil packs. there is a black wire with a loop on the end, it gets bolted to the side of the head to the coil brackt. make sure that wire is in place and tight and not broke off.

    next step would be to have the icm tested.

    you need to take it off and bring it to autozone or another parts store to be tested, they do it for free.
